The Purple Paddle Challenge - 14k Paddle
Join us to help raise funds for Nelson's Journey - a Norfolk based charity which supports children and young people under the age of 18yrs, living in Norfolk, who have experienced the death of a significant person in their life.

The Purple Paddle Challenge is a point-to-point route starting at the Red Lion from 2pm, taking a break at the Thorpe Ferry Cafe (approx 4.5km) before venturing on to The Cut at Brundall. From start to finish the whole route is 14km, but there is the option to stop at Thorpe Ferry if you want. You can either pay £50 to take part or pledge to raise a minimum of £50 by taking on the challenge. Fundraising packs are available to help you raise funds via sponsorship
Pre requisites for the 14km: No beginners - you must have at least 6 hours of paddle boarding experience or has attending one of our Paddle Board Lessons. You also will need to be fit and healthy to undertake this paddle as we aim to complete this paddle in 4.5hours. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
